Another Woodpecker...

We are having a wonderful spell of Woodpecker visitations. This one, you will notice, does not bear a prominent red patch on the nape of the neck, making her a female. I hope there will be young Woodies on the way in due course...

Beautiful bird, your feeders have given you along chance to study these birds!
I don't recognize this kind of woodpecker. It is very well patterned and portioned with shapes.
Did you ever find out about the black spots on the comfrey leaves, please?
