on the edge of Loch Duich,
not far from Castle Eilean Donan

I have not as yet been able to identify the species:
I would hazard a guess that it might be a member of the Sandpiper family.
Any clues would be gratefully received!

okay, that bird is adorable but, i hate to say it... the castle steals the show... grin. the castle is beautiful. hope all is well. have a great day.

Love both the sandpiper and the castle! The castle does look familiar....maybe from a movie?
