These photos date to 18 August. We visited Hickling Broad, and thought we might be too late for Swallowtail caterpillars ... but our vigilance was rewarded!

ReplyDeleteWe have so few butterflies because of the drought. In fact a monarch and a swallowtail is all I have seen this far. I really enjoy seeing the first stages as a worm. It is a pretty thing.
