In the next few weeks I'm going to take a sample of leaves and press them in a book, I bet there will be a few surprises along the way.<br />Amanda xxAmanda Petershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16760505541954557539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1478882493164975499.post-58800725901852061192014-06-09T10:55:52.684+01:002014-06-09T10:55:52.684+01:00Lovely photos and great detective work!Lovely photos and great detective work!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1478882493164975499.post-51336328681516383882014-06-09T08:28:44.529+01:002014-06-09T08:28:44.529+01:00What a lot of beautiful birds you have. I think a birch was a good choice of tree to follow, I have noticed mine is teeming with life and birds love it, specially long tailed tits.chlorishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02037607962980090244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1478882493164975499.post-1569503969800725552014-06-08T21:47:15.869+01:002014-06-08T21:47:15.869+01:00Goodness - how did I live all these years without ...Goodness - how did I live all these years without coming across a ruby tailed wasp before? Along with the goldfinch, you are certainly getting a lot of colourful visitors. Your close observations put me to shame - I missed updating altogether on my silver birch last month but I am determined to do so in the next couple of days. It won't be as well-observed as yours, though. I am so impressed by the large variety of bird visitors. And that ruby wasp is very colourful - definitely no camouflage there. We're nearly having our shortest day - I always look forward to post June 21 so I can have longer in the garden before it gets dark.Sue Catminthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14242341696447975933noreply@blogger.com
